A few things Lincoln said that are funny:

*After Emme just bit him, "Mom................... Emme just boot me." He thought for a long time about how he should say that. He knew it wasn't Emme bite him. Just got it wrong. It was hilarious.

*"Mom, for my birthday party tomorrow I want a Spider Man cake, for my birthday party at Nani and Papa's, I want a Transformers cake, and for my birthday at Aunt Shellie's I want a butterfly cake." I paused for a bit and said, "Butterfly cake?" to which he replied "yea mom, butterflies aren't just for girls."

*On his trip over to Aunt Shellie's for said birthday, he rode with his Grandma Peggy and Uncle Tommy. When they arrived in Kalispell, Peggy noticed a police man was following her, then two, then three. Finally they all turned their lights on and so she pulled over. They then proceeded to get out of their cars, crouch down behind their open doors and pull their guns out. Over a loud speaker they told the passengers of the vehicle to put their hands up and slowly roll their windows down and put their hands out the window. Lincoln could barely get his little hands out of the window. They then told Peggy to come out with her hands up. She was angry and very scared at this point and asked then after she complied what the hell was going on. They told her they received several phone calls that someone was pointing a gun at people on the streets in the back seat. Whoops- That was Lincoln pointing his two toy guns out the window. Won't be doing that again. After they learned it was a 3 year old, they all felt embarrassed and were extra nice.

Emme is currently walking around the house in her Sunday dress with a spoon and carton of frosting she took out of the garbage can(!) happily eating away. She is getting sassy. But she gives me kisses when I ask for them so she gets away with it..

Lincoln left some fruit puffs on the floor near the door in Emme's room last night. This morning I heard Emme SCREAMING in her room. Lincoln goes, "Mom-- go check on Emme." I said, "Why don't you go climb into bed with her." (He usually does every morning) He says, "No- I'm sleeping" rolls over and pulls the covers up over his head. Ok then. So I head into Emme's room to grab her and realize she's not crying, she's literally just screaming at the top of her lungs. She was reaching through her crib as far as her little arm would go, trying to grab the fruit puffs on the floor. She was only about five feet away from them, but she was NOT going to give up. She WANTED THOSE FRUIT PUFFS!!

A couple hours later, I was sitting on the couch and she had my phone. I noticed the screen wasn't locked, and she was about to call somebody. So I reached over and locked my phone, but immediately gave it back to her. It made her so mad, she threw the phone at me and then threw herself on the floor and started screaming. Nice. I don't remember these little fits starting so early. Guess I'm in for it.

Whenever Emme is hungry she goes straight to the cabinet where we store her food. She grabs whatever looks good to her and brings it over to me and throws it at me. She's so funny. She literally rummages through it to pick out what she wants. Sometimes it's spaghetti, sometimes chicken and rice. Sometimes it's a jar of pears or bananas, and sometimes it's fruit puffs, cheetoh puffs or a fruit rollup.

This morning Lincoln was looking at the globe we have and said, "Mama, where do we live?" So I pointed to Montana and he said "oh, and this is where Mexico and the beach is." And he pointed exactly to where we went in November! He's so smart. He is counting. He can get to about 20, but for some reason he always gets stuck on ten. He wants to start back over at four every time he gets to ten. He loves reading books, and is awesome at picking out letters. His favorite letters are O and S. He loves to sing. He sings all the time. Billy said he sang the whole way home from Great Falls on Sunday, saying "There's a rat in the kitchen, what am I gonna do with that rat? I'm gonna fix that rat. Oh Yeah. I'm gonna fix that rat, I'm gonna bang that rat. Oh Yeah."

It's been a little while since I last posted, so I figured I'd better get on it. Billy got a new camera for his birthday, so we're taking pictures with an actual camera again, instead of just using our phones to take pics. We're all doing well. Just finished with ANOTHER move. Hopefully this will be the last time for several years!! Billy has been a running fool lately- training for a marathon in Oct and the Bridger Ridge Run in mid- August. I've been jogging three days a week for the past several weeks to get ready for a 5k on the 4th of July. We got a double jogger stoller and it has been a God send!! Emme is the chubbiest baby I've ever seen and Lincoln sure loves her!! It's finally getting sunny here... YAY!! Looking forward to our November trip to Cancun with the whole family. I can't wait to get all the kids together again. Hope this finds everyone well!

Well, it's been quite a while since I've blogged, and I'm sitting here, bored, on a Sunday afternoon, so I thought I'd do an update. Lincoln is 2 1/2, and is entering full on terrible two's. Yay for me, the 8 mos. pregnant, impatient mom. Billy has been working a lot lately, playing catch-up from his 11 days off he took to go to Belize and Guatamala. We are working on getting out of Bozeman in the spring or early summer and heading to Kalispell so I can go to school and get my nursing degree. We're hoping Billy will be able to attend school as well; he's pretty sick of the construction industry. It's probably a great time to get out anyway, as it doesn't seem to be getting any better, only worse. We will be welcoming our new bundle of joy on March 25th. We are all excited, especially Lincoln. He's going to be a fantastic big brother. I can't wait to see him in the role! Billy and I are still a little bit in denial about adding another child to our brew, but I'm sure we'll handle it like pros, just like we did when Lincoln came along. I am working at a salon/ spa in Bozeman, called Sage. I really enjoy my job and the people I work with. Billy is still with Karl Cook Construction working as a Superintendant. He enjoys his job when they are busy, which has not been the case lately. Lincoln is talking full sentences now and is pretty well potty trained. I'm so thankful for that so we won't have to deal with two kids in diapers. It'll be much cheaper that way too!

Surprise!! Billy turned 30, so we celebrated with his entire family and Jeremy and Jordan up in Big Sky. We rented a cabin and Billy thought he was going to do an estimate on a remodel. Little did he know, his whole family was there! Tricked him goooooood!!

Mel, Billy's brother in law, said that it looked like the Teletubbies took a dump on his birthday cake. It was funny.

Billy and the boys went fishing at McGregor Lake near Kalispell for an ice fishing competition. Unfortunately, only one fish was caught between the five of them, it wasn't a winner, and it was at 8:30 A.M. on day one of their two days there.

Lincoln is teething and has a terrible diaper rash because of it. Our pediatrician told us the best way to cure it is to keep his diaper off as much as we can. So, we usually give him about thirty minutes at night to be "free", and he LOVES it!
He was ecstatic about being able to crawl around naked.
